Archley Landscapes is a family run business which began trading in 1994. Linda Munday is our exclusive designer and we use several extremely talented installer teams from around the region.
As landscape designers we are very lucky to work in an industry that allows us to positively affect peoples lifestyles and one that is constantly improving with the introduction of new materials year on year to facilitate our creativity.
We are pleased to have Global Stone as our main supplier of Natural Stone and together we have created an impressive portfolio of diverse and imaginative projects which include outdoor dining spaces, tranquil seating areas, sensory gardens and outdoor work spaces that free up indoor rooms and improve our lifestyle.
Our best selling product for 2015/16 was Mirage. This is a beautiful sandstone product which is ultra smooth yet not slippery due to its porosity. It comes in 4 sizes which can be laid individually or randomly. Mirage is a clever name for this product as when it’s laid it catches the sun light and creates a shimmering effect. ‘Beautiful’.
We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Global Stone and specifying their products throughout 2018.
Designer’s Tips
- Incorporate different textures in your design; Mirage works particularly well with a textured border such as setts.
- It’s a good idea to frame natural stone installations with a contrasting border to accentuate the design in the same way you would frame a picture.
- Mirage also works well when combined with standard sandstone such as a Global Stone circle kit.
